Monogram Club Musings – Pitt Weekend

Oct 15, 2018, 2:38 PM EDT

Monogram Club members were recognized before Saturday's game.

Saturday was an idyllic fall day that featured many beautiful sights throughout the Notre Dame campus. Among them were the Fighting Irish football team remaining undefeated with a 19-14 win over Pitt, and Monogram Club members donning their Monogram jackets during the Club’s Annual Mass, Meeting and Reception festivities.

On Friday, the Monogram Club Board of Directors held its fall meeting and later that evening Club members enjoyed another outstanding Annual Reception inside the Schivarelli Football Players’ Lounge/North Tunnel concourse at Notre Dame Stadium.

On Saturday, members attended the Club’s pregame reception and were then recognized on the field prior to the game. Following the Fighting Irish victory, the Club held its Annual Mass and Meeting, where membership welcomed three new directors to the board: Derrick Mayes (’96, football), Paul Rodriguez (’03, ’05, soccer) and Marcie Wolbeck (’02, volleyball).

Be sure to check out the Q&A with Monogram Club First Vice President Don Casey (’82, ’83, swimming) that appeared in this week’s Game Day Magazine. READ Q&A
