Monogram Club Musings – Michigan Weekend

Sep 4, 2018, 11:28 AM EDT

The 1988 Notre Dame football team celebrated the 30th anniversary of its national championship season.

It’s hard to imagine a better – or busier – weekend on the Notre Dame campus than the one that just happened. It was great to see so many Monogram winners back in town to take part in the various events, which included 30th anniversary reunions for the 1988 football national champions and the women’s soccer program.

The Monogram Club hosted packed houses for its Schivarelli Football Players’ Lounge reception, pre-game reception and post-game Mass, along with providing football Monogram alumni the chance to form the tunnel prior to the win over the Wolverines.

Here’s a look back at the festivities…

Football wasn’t the only Fighting Irish team with a successful weekend. Congrats to men’s soccer for winning the Indiana Classic, cross country for a season-opening sweep and volleyball and women’s soccer for claiming victories.
