Monogram Club Musings โ€“ Georgia Weekend

Sep 11, 2017, 1:56 PM EDT

Several generations of football Monogram winners were at the Club's pre-game reception.

The Monogram Club was thrilled to welcome back several of its members to campus for the highly-anticipated Notre Dame-Georgia game.

Events got underway Friday evening with the Schivarelli Football Players’ Lounge reception. The event provided many football/senior football manager Monogram Club members the opportunity to see the renovated locker room for the first time. They also were able to slap the Play Like A Champion Today sign again and visit the field. It’s always great to see these members enjoy seeing both the old and new amenities of the place they used to call home.

Prior to making his way over to the Schivarelli Lounge reception, Justin Tuck had some business to take care of.

The Game Day Chase 5K/10K races also took place Saturday morning near the Notre Dame campus. The Monogram Club sponsored over 30 of its members who participated in the event, which benefits the Kelly Cares Foundation.

The Monogram Club’s Notre Dame-Georgia game day program feature story focused on service initiatives supported by the Club. It was a fitting piece since two of the programs are the Kelly Cares Foundation and the Bread of Life food drive, which partners with the Lou’s Lads Foundation. CLICK TO READ THE STORY

Saturday’s result wasn’t in our favor, but it was tremendous to see so many Monogram winners return to their alma mater and support the Fighting Irish! We hope to see some of you this weekend in Boston and throughout the rest of the fall. Check out the Monogram Club’s fall schedule HERE.

It was also great to see Fighting Irish men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball notch big wins over the weekend!
