As we prepare to turn the calendar to 2015, it is once again time to look back on another great year for Notre Dame and the Monogram Club. Over the next several days, we’ll continue to recap the significant Monogram initiatives, events and accomplishments from 2014. That journey takes us to the Winter Career & Internship Fair…
In the world of college football, February 5, 2014 marked National Signing Day, one of the few occasions each year when fax machines come alive, and high school students around the country make their future college decisions official.
February 5th was a significant day for many current and former Fighting Irish student-athletes too, as over 100 employers visited campus for the Winter Career & Internship Fair in the Joyce Center Fieldhouse.
For the Monogram Club, the career fairs provide a chance for the staff to catch up with some of our members who are working around the country. From Target and General Electric to the Big Four accounting firms, it is always nice to see alumni who are back on campus as recruiters.
As the Club continues to develop the Monogram Career Network, the career fair is also a great opportunity to build connections with Monogram winners who have an interest in helping current student-athletes target potential internships and full-time employment.
Check out the full blog post for more on the Winter Career Fair, and be sure to read up on the Fall Career Fair as well, for plenty of photos of the Monogram alumni who’ve “gone pro in something other than sports.”
