Fellow Monogram Winners, 

As the weather finally turns from winter to spring, there are a number of events in the coming weeks/months:

85th Annual Blue-Gold Game
For those attending the Blue-Gold game, there are many things going on that weekend:

  • Blue-Gold game
  • Men’s and Women’s Tennis
  • Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse
  • Softball
  • An Evening with the Monogram Club.  This includes Annual Mass and Meeting, Dinner and Cocktail Reception, Moose Krause Presentation and a Post-Dinner Cocktail Reception.You must register at: MONOGRAM.UNDGROUP.ORG/ANNUALDINNER2014

UND Night Events at your local Clubs
Many of your local Notre Dame Alumni Clubs will be holding UND Night events in the coming months.  It is a great way to catch up with other local Notre Dame family and friends, get an update on things going on on campus, and support your Club Scholarship Fund.  Contact your local Club to find out additional information on their planned events.

Sports Teams:

  • Women’s Basketball – ranked #2 in the country with a record of 36-0, and in the Final Four
  • Men’s Lacrosse – ranked #7 with a record of 4-3
  • Women’s Lacrosse – ranked #6 with a record of 8-4
  • Women’s Softball – ranked $24 with a 19-7 record
  • Track & Field – Men finished #17 at Indoor Championship, Women 29th
  • Hockey – Finished the season with a 23-14-2 record, and was #2 seed in the West Regional.

Three NCAA Individual Championships
In late March, Notre Dame had three NCAA individual championships in three days!

  • Women’s Fencer Lee Kiefer – Foil
  • Women’s Swimmer Emma Reaney – 200 Breaststroke
  • Men’s Fencer Gerek Meinhardt – Foil

Irish Softball Strikeout Cancer
The Softball team is holding its Strikeout Cancer weekend from April 25-28, ending with a game vs. Maryland on ESPNU.  This includes Trivia Night, a Home Run Derby contest and three games against Maryland.  If you are in South Bend that weekend, contact the Softball team for additional information.
