Four-time Monogram winner and current Club board member Byron Spruell (’87, ’89, football) was appointed vice chairman of Deloitte LLP, Central region managing principal and Chicago office managing principal on Wednesday.
While at Notre Dame, Spruell was a co-captain on the 1987 Irish football squad under head coach Lou Holtz. He was a two-time winner of the Toyota Leadership Award (1986, 1987) and earned Academic All-American honorable mention accolades in 1987.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1987, Spruell went on to become a Double Domer, earning his MBA in 1989.
