This past weekend, the Notre Dame basketball family welcomed a new member into the prestigious Ring of Honor at Purcell Pavilion. Four-time All-America point guard Skylar Diggins (’13) returned to her hometown and was recognized in a pre-game ceremony before the Irish took the floor against Valparaiso.

A giant #4 Diggins banner was unveiled, joining #00 Ruth Riley (’01), #44 Luke Harangody (’10), #34 Austin Carr (’71) and #44 Adrian Dantley (’78) in the rafters.

In the latest edition of Irish Connection, Fighting Irish Digital Media goes behind the scenes of Skylar’s special day and reflects back on the outstanding career of one of South Bend’s own. Watch below.

In March, seven Irish teams competed in North Carolina in a span of six days. That trip included a Monogram Club pre-game gathering in Chapel Hill before @ndlacrosse's exciting victory over the Tar Heels. #12MonthsofMonogram This morning's #12MonthsofMonogram blog post looks back at the Winter Career Fair, where we caught up with some of our student-athletes - like Frenchy Silva ('12, volleyball) - who've "gone pro in something other than sports."
